Running title reads: Seneca's consolation to Marcia. The first leaf and the last leaf are blank. Variant 1: title page has "philosopher his booke,". Variant 2: includes an extra leaf with a printed dedication to John Egerton, Earl of Bridgewater. Reproduction of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery.
