The old mans life renewed by heavenly providence. or, A strange (yet true) relation of one Mr. Macklian [sic], a man of an hundred & sixteen years old who when he was about the age of fourscore years old, his strength failed him, and his eye-sight grew dim; he was likewise deaf of hearing, and feeble of speech, but now of late the Lord hath shown such a miracle upon him, that he is now become as a young man again; for his hearing and speech is come perfectly to him, and his eye-sight is so good that he can write or read the smallest point that is, without spectacles[, h]is teeth which were decayed and rotten out of his head, there are new ones come in their places: and having lost the old hair from off his head, there is now fine young tender hair growing upon the same, like the hair of a child of two years old.
