dc.description.abstract Contains letters by Thomas Mayhew and John Eliot. With an initial leaf which begins "The Lord, who is wonderful in councel, .. ", signed: Joseph Caryl. The final leaf is blank. Another issue (Wing W1999A) has "Church" in title spelled correctly. A variant has "H. Whitfeld" on the title page. Annotation on Thomason copy: "feb: 18. 1650". Reproduction of the original in the British Library.
