Originally published in Scots in 1585 as: A declaratioun of the Kings Majesties intentioun and meaning toward the lait actis of Parliament. "A declaratioun of the Kings Majesties intentioun and meaning toward the lait actis of Parliament", the original Scots text, has separate title page with arms of Charles I and imprint "Imprinted at Edinburgh, by Thomas Vautroullier. 1585."; pagination and register are continuous. Annotation on Thomason copy: "Aprill 6th". Reproduction of the original in the British Library.
