dc.description.abstract The author of the Exercitation = Edward Gee (Halkett & Laing, 2nd ed.). Attributed to Richard Hollinworth (i.e. Hollingworth, the elder) in the Thomason Catalogue. A reply to: Eaton, Samuel. The Oath of allegiance and the national Covenant proved to be non-obliging. Annotation on Thomason copy: "Feb: 14 1649"; the imprint date has been crossed out. Reproduction of the original in the British Library.
