dc.description.abstract A satiric account of Shaftesbury's proposal to King Charles II to settle the crown on the Duke of Monmouth. Item at reel 297:13 identified as Wing S2891A (number cancelled). Item at reel 1776:7 identified as Wing E45A ("no entry" in Wing 2nd ed., rev.). Item at reel 1776:7 imperfect: t.p. torn with partial loss of title and entire imprint. Reproduction of originals at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign Campus). Library, Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery, and Folger Shakespeare Library.
