dc.description.abstract | In reply to His Majesties gracious message to both Houses of Parliament, sent from Nottingham 25. of August 1642. (Wing C2332). As the King has not recalled his proclamation calling Parliament traitiors they cannot recede. If the King will abandon his position and return to Parliament, he will find a full expression of their fidelity and duty. There is no other way to make him happy and his kingdom safe. -- Steele.
