dc.description.abstract Dated at end: Given at Our Palace at Westminster the 10th day of March, in the Year of Our Lord, 1657. The annual revenue has been fixed by Parliament at £1,300,000, best raised by excise. Recites the various Acts governing the excise. Lays down regulations for the collection of the excise from brewers and from ale-house keepers who brew for sale. -- Cf. Steele. Reproduction of the original in the British Library.
