| dc.description.abstract | Written in 1598 by Cranmer to Richard Hooker, this work was first published in 1642. Printer's name from Wing. Leaf A2 contains a quotation from the English translation of William Camden's "Annales rerum Anglicarum et Hibernicarum regnante Elizabetha" on the life of Cranmer. A reissue with the place of publication ("Oxford") stamped on the title page from type and the "5" in the date likewise stamped over the "2". The original imprint read: Printed in the yeare 1642.
