dc.description.abstract Editor's preface signed M.B. An enlarged edition of: The ladies cabinet opened. Title page in red and black; the words "1. Preserving, .. houswifery." are bracketed together. The red and black printing was done by masking a single setting of type; in the imprint of at least some copies the "r" in "for" and part of the "e" in "the" have printed in both colors. With six final advertisement leaves. Annotation on Thomason copy: "Nou. 1st.". Reproduction of the original in the British Library.
