The pamphlet is in answer to Jacques Bénigne Bossuet's An exposition of the doctrine of the Catholic Church in matters of controversie. His vindicator is Joseph Johnston who wrote A vindication of the Bishop of Condom's exposition of the doctrine of the Catholic Church. "The table of this first part" (i.e. table of contents): p. [2]-[7] "The contents" (i.e. summary of contents) for the second part: p. [3]-[13] Errata: p. 100 of first part, and p. [14] of second part.
