dc.description.abstract Apparently entirely fictitious; the islands of the hairy giants are described as located off the coast of southern Chile. Found on reel 1557:13, the Harvard University Library copy contains the frontispiece map missing on 291:9, and also has an intact imprint. Imperfect: imprint cropped, and frontispiece map lacking in British Library copy. Reproduction of originals in British Library and Harvard University Library.
