dc.description.abstract Sometimes attributed to Robert Greene. "The initials T.G. were presumably intended to suggest Thomas Goffe" (Greg), who, however, was not born until 1591. A reissue, with cancel title page printed by Nicholas Okes, of: The first part of the tragicall raigne of Selimus: London, 1594. Signatures: A-K⁴ (-A1,K4). The last leaf was blank, and the first leaf blank except for signature-mark in the original issue, but they are not recorded in any extant copy of this reissue. Running title reads: The first part of the tragicall raigne of Selimus, Emperour of the Turkes. Identified as STC 12310a on UMI microfilm reel 298. Reproductions of the originals in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery and the Bodleian Library. Appears at reel 298 (Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery copy) and at reel 1574 (Bodleian Library copy).
