dc.description.abstract | Reproduction of original in Bodleian Library. Also issued with Paul Barbette's A complete treatise of chirurgery, containing the chirurgical and anatomical works, 2nd ed., London, 1674. The original was in German. It was published with the author's Von geschossenen Wunden, and his Neues Feld-Artzneibuch. The later enlarged Latin version appeared in 1633 under title: Cista militaris. "A description of a lancet, for the more secure letting of blood, by Dr. Lower" (p. 1-6) is translated from his De corde, 3d ed., Amsterdam, 1671, p. 166-169. |
