dc.description.abstract The Empress of Morocco is a burlesque of Settle's play of the same name, and the epilogue a travesty of the witches' scene in Macbeth. Attributed to Thomas Duffet. Cf. Halkett & Laing (2nd ed.). Reproduction of original in British Library. "Epilogue: being a new fancy after the old, and most surprising way of Macbeth" (p. [27]-39) has special t.p. Imperfect: film lacks port. of Griffin, the actor.
