dc.description.abstract An act of Parliament (23 Henry VIII.c.4) regulating cooperage. Imprint from STC; Steele suggests T. Berthelet, 1532 for imprint and 1531-1532 for date of act. The woodcut initial is in a state between that in STC 7597 and STC 7995.3 [both of which are Jugge and Cawood imprints from the 1560s]--STC. Reproduction of the original in the Society of Antiquaries.
