dc.description.abstract In verse. A reprinting of the expanded edition of "The monarchick tragedies", "Doomes-day", and "A paraenesis to the Prince", with "Jonathan" added. The first leaf and the last leaf are blank. "Dooms-day, or, The great day of the Lords iudgement" has separate dated title page, pagination, and register. Within this, "Ionathan" has separate dated title page. A couple of copies have an engraved frontispiece portrait of the author by William Marshall, but Greg is doubtful that it was printed to accompany the book. Reproduction of the original in Cambridge University Library.
