dc.description.abstract Attributed to Juliana Berners. G.M. = Gervase Markham. Revised from the first edition, 1486. The first leaf is blank except for large signature-mark "A"; the last leaf is blank. "A treatise of hunting" and "The booke of armorie" each have separate dated title page naming Simmes as the printer; foliation and register are continuous. Some copies have the illustration on leaf 57r cancelled. Reproduction of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery.
