dc.description.abstract Attributed to Juliana Berners. The Book of Saint Albans, enlarged from the first edition, 1486. The section on hunting is in verse. Printed in red and black. Title from a1v. Imprint from colophon. Signatures: a⁶ (a2-6 signed 1-5) b-e⁶ f-g⁴ h⁶ i⁴; ² a-c⁶ ² d. a2r text begins: In so moche that gentylmen and honeste persones haue grete delyte in hawkynge .. "Here begynnyth the blasynge of armes" has separate register. The last leaf contains a heraldic cut and a printer's mark. Reproduction of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery.
