dc.description.abstract "Harper pr[inted]. the Hanmer section"--STC. "The chronicle of Ireland: collected by Meredith Hanmer .. The second part" (caption title) begins new pagination on 2A1r. "Henry Marleburrough's chronicle of Ireland", 2S2-2T3. "A vievv of the state of Ireland .. by Edmund Spenser .. VVhereunto is added the history of Ireland, by Edmund Campion .. Published by Sir Iames Ware Knight" has separate dated title page, pagination, and register. Variant (probably earlier): an ornament replaces the lines "VVhereunto .. Knight.". "Certaine verses of Mr Edm. Spenser's", [4] leaves at end. The parts occur in various orders. Quire k of annotations (p. 121-127, [1]) is sometimes absent. Reproduction of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery.
