dc.description.abstract Translated by W.B. (i.e. William Bedwell?), whose initials appear on the third leaf recto. The title page is engraved. Identification of printers supplied and actual publication date conjectured by STC; Bill's name from colophon. The maps were printed in Antwerp by the Officina Plantiniana; each is folded and has letterpress text on the back. "Parergon, siue veteris geographiæ aliquot tabulæ" has separate title page. Includes index. The plate numbers appear to be hand-stamped in the catalogued copy. Reproduction of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery.
