dc.description.abstract "To the reader" signed: Iames Rx., i.e. James I. Headpieces, initials; device below title on t.p. may be a variant of royal arms. The title page comes in at least three variants combining these characteristics: headpiece has vase or lace; second line begins with swash or regular G. Both copies at reel 239:13 and 239:14 have lace headpiece and swash. Reproduction of the originals in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery.
