All of its material was gathered and organised prior to the creation of the World Wide Web and, despite updating its collection for the WWW, produces its texts in a simple, text-only format to ensure wide access to its users This text was scanned from the 1901 edition and mechanically checked against a commercial copy of the Republic from CDROM. Differences were corrected against the paper edition. The text itself is thus a highly accurate rendition |
