Samson9 A little onward lend thy guiding hand 1
To these dark steps8 a little further on& 2
For yonder bank hath choice of Sun or shade8 3
There I am wont to sit8 when any chance 4
Relieves me from my task of servile toil8 05
Daily in the common Prison else enjoin3d me8 6
Where I a Prisoner chain3d8 scarce freely draw 7
The air imrpison3d also8 close and damp8 8
Unwholesome draught5 but here I feel amends8 9
The breath of Heav3n fresh blowing8 pure and sweet8 10
With day-spring born& here leave me to respire9 11
This day a solemn Feast the people hold 12
To Dagon their Sea-Idol8 a . . .
