PRO CONSILIO SVO VIRGINIAE

By his Maiesties Commissioners FOR VIRGINIA.

WHereas the Kings most excellent Ma­iesty, out of his especiall Grace and care of the good of the Plantation of Virgi­nia, hath granted a Commission vnder the Great Seale of England, dated the 15. day of this present moneth of Iuly, directed to the right Honorable the Lord Viscount Mandeuile Lord President of his Councell, and others of his Maiesties most Honourable Priuy Councell, and to diuers others, for the present or­dering of the affaires of the Colony and Plantation of Virginia, vntill his Maiesty shall make a full and abso­lute settlement thereof, according to his Royall inten­tion:

These are therfore to giue notice to all Masters of ships, and all others, Planters, or Aduenturers in or vnto Virginia, who haue any intention to goe or send thither; That the Commissioners doe weekely and euery Thurs­day in the afternoone, sit about the execution of that Commission, at the house of Sir Thomas Smith, in Phil­pot Lane; whither all parties whom it shall concerne, may repaire, to receiue such directions as shall bee requi­site, both for their owne better warrant and surety who shall goe thither, and for the better incouragement, and assuring of the Plantation already settled there.
