ACT of COUNCIL, Dispensing with Circuit Courts for this Instant Year 1685.

FOrasmuch as His Majesties high Commissioner, and the Lords of Privy Council, having thought fit (in regard his Majesties Service doth not now require that Circuit Courts should be held for this year, as is appointed by Act of Parliament) To dispense therewith; They, to the effect notice hereof may be given to all persons concerned, Do hereby Ordain the Macers of Council, to pass to the Mercat Cross of Edinburgh, and there, by open Proclamation, make publication that the said Circuit Courts are not to be keeped this year, that none pretend ignorance.
