Behold, O God, in Rivers of my tears
I come to thee, bow down thy blessed ears
To bear me wretch, and let my eyes that sleep,

All other helps are vainegrant then to me
I am thycross, thysaving health must be:
O hearken then what I byFaith implore,
Lest Sinand death sinkme for ever more,
Lastly, OGod, my wayes directand guide,
Indeath defend me that Inever slide:
