WARRE, In her own Kingdome scalds her very Bowels.
Warre, Makes the Fathers throat a sheath for the Sons Sword.
Warre, Enforceth the Mother to behold the Ravish­ment of her owne Daughter.
Warre, Makes the Sister mingle teares with her Brothers blood.
Warre, Made the Senate-House no Sanctuary for CESAR, nor Pater Patriae, a Protection for CICERO.
Warre, Turnes the Fountaines from the Cities, and makes the Channels flow with their Merchants bloods.
Warre, Fires faire Buildings, and makes Houshold-Servants prove sometimes Incendiaries.
Warre, Makes the Rascality become Masters of mighty Prizes, and the richest Merchant goods.
Warre, Stops the mouth of Justice, and gives unto Oppression an hundred hands.
Warre, Makes Law give place to bloody Swords, and Orators to the Neying of Horses.
Warre, Makes the uncivill Sou [...]dier, to judge the rich grave Alderman.
Warre, Makes Nobility become Suppliant to the giddy multitude.
Warre, Makes Religion mis-prized, and Youth ill instructed.
Warre, Yeelds no reverence to Gray haires, nor makes di­stinction betweene Kindred and Strangers.
Warre, Brings a Famine of Bread, Vertue scarce, and nothing publique but Disorder.
Warre, Makes the Vineyards lye disorderly, and the Bryers to over runne the fruitfull Fields.
Warre, Brings the Plough to be laid in the Fire, and makes the fire be hurled into the Husbandmans Barne.
Civill-Warre, Layes the strongest City flat and even with the Earth.

When the Romans beheld in their owne Cities these havocks of [...] vine and Humane Blessings, they were so sensibly touched with [...] in their Hearts; That whereas before they had beene very vehement [...] over-forward in pursuing WARRE, they quite altered their course, [...] (in a short time after) became humble Suitors for PEACE, which is [...] the Crowne and Top-Garland of a Nations best Glory, Happinesse, [...] Felicity. Peace, Is the Mirrour Christaline, where Science [...] is seene.
Peace, Is the Fountain next GODS Word, from wher [...] doth Goodnesse flow:
Peace, Is the Holy Ground, whereon a [...]l Earthly Blessings grow.
Peace, Is the Trump or Tongue of Law; yea, setteth Justice up [...]
Peace, Measures Right to every Man; yet with a severall Gup.

Peace, That harmonious Musique is, which yeelds a silver sound,

The City of the mighty GOD, sackt through the Peoples Crime,
Of blessed Peace was Salem call'd, untill King JE [...]VS time.
God would not have his Temple built, but in the Times of Peace,
Christ was not borne untill that Warre throughout the World did [...]
Christ his Apostles thus doth blesse, With you be Peace and Love;
Christ thus the wicked Iewes doth curse, Peace shall from you [...]
Christ is the Author of all Peace the sacred Word doth say;

And will have Peace throughout the World against the Judgment Day▪
