The Censure of Captaine James Francis de Latoure upon certaine Articles pronounced against him by Lewis Mareschall his Lieftenant before the Councell of Warre.

VVHereas Captaine Latoure hath beene questioned before the Councell of VVarre upon severall Articles exhibited against him, of the truth of which there appeares no sufficient proof, but meerly out of malice, promoted by Lewis Mareschall his Lieftenant, The whole Councell of VVarre do this day fully and wholly acquit and discharge the said Captaine Latoure as cleere from all the said former Charge.

The Censure of Lewis Mareschall Lieftenant.

It is ordered by the Councell of VVarre this day, that Lieft. Mareschall being accused and questioned upon severall Articles proved against him by many witnesses, and more especially for abusing his Quarters, resisting and opposing his Captaine, and laying to his charge severall scandalous matters proceeding meerly from malice, That he shalbe forthwith cashiered from his Command, make an acknowledgement before the head of his Captaine Latoures Troupe, that he hath very maliciously and impudently scandalized the said Captain Latoure in his honour and good reputation, as also humbly crave pardon for the same before this honourable Court, and utterly be disabled from bearing of Armes, and that he shal stand imprisoned during the pleasure of the Councell of VVarre.
