TO THE READER.
THIS Catalogue Contains the Library of Mr. Peter Hushar, Merchant of London, Deceased; which considered as to the French Part, Consists of the Writings of the best and most Eminent French Divines, &c. Ancient and Modern; Especially of their Sermons, of which there is great variety. The English, both as to the Divinity and History are not contemptible, which without any further Account I leave to the Buyers to judge of; inviting them to a sight and view of them for Two dayes preceding the Sale, from the hours of 9 in the Morning to 12, and from 2 till 6 in the Evening.
This SALE will begin on Wednesday the 18th Day of November, 1685, At Mr. Thomas Ward's Upholster, at the Boars-Head in Cornhil, from the hours of 9 in the Morning to 12, and from 2 to 6 in the Evening, till all the Books are Sold.
Conditions for SALE.
1. THAT he who bids most is the Buyer; and if any difference ariseth, the same Book or Books to be Exposed again to Sale.
2. That the Books in this Catalogue (not otherwise expressed) are for ought we know perfect; but if any of them appear to be otherwise before they be taken away, the Buyer shall have his choice of leaving or taking them.
3. That the Money for the Book or Books fo bought, be paid by the Buyer within one Week after the Sale is ended, at the place of Sale; where upon payment thereof the Book or Books so bought shall be ready to be delivered within the Week aforesaid.
4. That every Person or Persons not known to the Undertaker, or some of the Company, do pay in part for the Book or Books bought by him such a Proportion of Money in part as shall be demanded by the Exposer.
