A PROCLAMATION FOR THE Suppression of Riots.

HIs Majesty taking notice of many Riotous and Vnlawful Assem­blies of Weavers and others, in or near the Cities of London and West­minster, and the Borough of Southwark, doth hereby straitly Charge and Command all and every the persons so assembled, forthwith upon no­tice of this His Royal Proclamation, to depart to their own Houses, and to forbear any further assembling, upon pain of being proceeded against as Traitors and Enemies to His Majesty His Crown and Dig­nity. And His Majesty doth further Command all Officers Civil and Military, and all other His loving Subjects, That they be aiding and assisting to Apprehend all such persons as shall presume so to assemble or continue together contrary to this His Royal Proclamation, and in Disturbance of the Peace, as they will answer the contrary at their utmost Peril.
