Which will be Sold by Auction at Batson's Coffee-House, over-against the Royal Exchange in Corn-Hill, at three of the clock in the Afternoon, On Tuesday, June 27. 1693.
Catalogues are distributed by Mr. Partridge at Charing-Cross, Mr. Hargrave in Holborn, Mr. Southby in Fleetstreet, Booksellers; and at the place of Sale.
The Conditions of SALE.
I. HE that bids most is the buyer; and if any difference arise, which the Company cannot decide, then the Book, or books shall be forthwith exposed to sale again.
II. That all the books in this Catalogue, not otherwise expressed, (for ought we know) are perfect; but if any of them appear to be otherwise, before they be taken away, the buyer shall have his choice of taking or leaving them.
III. That the Buyers shall give their Names, and Places of Abode, and pay five shillings in the pound in part of what they shall buy, if demanded.
IV. That The money for the book or books so bought, is to be paid by the buyer within 3 days after the Auction is ended at the Place where they are sold; where, upon payment thereof, the book, or books shall be delivered for the 3 days aforesaid.
V. The Books may be seen for two days before the sale begins.
