THIS Ensuing Catalogue contains the Books of the Reverend Mr. Charles Adams, late Minister of Great Baddow near Chelms­ford in Ess [...]x, (which if we respect either their number or quality, are not any way contemptible or inconsiderable) will be exposed to Sale by way of Auction, or who bids most; a way that hath been incouraged and approved by the Learned and Intelligent Pers [...]ns in the City: as having a peculiar tendency to promote Learning and disperse Knowledg; which con­sidered, its reasonably expected that all Gentlemen and others, but especially the Clergy, will incourage an Essay of this nature in the Country, that is manifest­ly accompanied with such great advantages to their Relicts, &c. in disposing of their Studies.

This Sale will begin on Friday the 16th of this instant November, 1683. at the Black▪ Boy-Inn in Chelmsford, exactly at the hours of Nine in the Morning to Twel [...]e, and from One in the Afternoon to Six: wherefore its de­sired▪ that all that cannot be present would be pleased to send their Commissions or Friends early, lest they miss of the Books they intended, or more particularly desired.
