THE Kings most Excellent MAIESTIE by the Aduice of his priuie Counsell, for diuers important Considerations, doeth publish and declare to all His louing Subiects, That all Coynes of Gold and Siluer within this His Realme of England, shall bee, and shall bee taken and receiued, to bee Currant in all Receipts and Payments, in such Species, and at such Weight, Finenesse, and Value, as the same were Currant the first day of August last past, and not otherwise. And that all Moneys of Gold and Siluer coyned sithence the sayd first day of August, in any other manner, then according to the Proclamations in force the said first day of August, shall be esteemed but as Bullion, and not bee Currant.
