❧ By the King.
¶ A Proclamation concerning the adiournement of the Parliament.

WHereas by Our Proclamation giuen at Our Court at Royston the sixt day of October last past, aswell in respect of the season of the yeare and weather, as for other considerations therein mentioned, we did publish Our Royall intention and purpose to adiourne our sayd Parliament, from the foureteenth day of Nouember now approaching, vnto the eight day of February next comming; Ne­uerthelesse vpon certaine vrgent and important occasions of great weight and consequence, with the aduice of Our Priuie Councel, We haue thought fit and necessary to alter Our former resolution in that behalfe, and to adiourne the sayd Parlianment, from the foure­teenth to the twentieth day of this instant Nouember: And there­fore Wee doe heereby notifie and publish the same to all the Prelates, Noblemen, and States of this Our Realme, and also to the Knights, Citizens and Burgesses of the same Parliament, So that they, or any of them, other then such as shall happen to be in London or Westminster, (who may attend the making of the sayd adiournement) shall not be bound or compelled to appeare the sayd foureteenth day of Nouember, at Our City of Westminster, but shalbe thereof discharged against Vs: Neuerthelesse, Wee doe heereby will, charge, and command all and euery the sayd Prelates, Noblemen and States, and all the sayd Knights, Citizen and Burgesses, and all others, to whom in this case it shall appertaine, That they and euery of them doe personally appeare, and bee present the sayd twentieth day of No­uember at the City of Westminster aforesayd, to treat, consent, and conclude vpon such matters, as in the sayd Parliament shall then and there of the Common Councell of the Realme by Gods fauour happen to be ordeyned, Our sayd former Proclamation, or any other thing to the contrary notwithstanding.
