❧ By the King.
❧ A Proclamation for the adiournement of the Parliament, from the foureteenth day of Nouember next, to the eight day of February following.

THE Kings most Excellent Maiestie, taking into his Royall consi­deration, the present season of the yeare and weather, and how troublesome and vnfit it is like to be, for the Prelates, Noblemen, and States of this kingdome, and also for the Knights, Citizens, and Burgesses of this present Parliament, to trauell to the City of Westminster, where the same is appointed by adiournement to be holden vpon the foureteenth day of Nouember next, and that the celebration of the feast of Christmas soone after approacheth; And therefore, and for diuers other weighty considerations, His High­nesses (at the motion & with the aduice of his Priuie Councel) thinketh good and necessary, to adiourne the sayd Parliament, vntilll the eight day of February next comming: And by this his Proclamation doeth publish and notifie the same to all the sayd Prelates, Noblemen, and States, and also to all the sayd Knights, Citi­zens and Burgesses, So that they, or any of them (other then such as shall happen then to be in London or Westminster, who may attend to adiourne the same) are not bound or compel­led to appeare the sayd foureteenth day of Nouember, at the City aforesayd, But that they, and euery of them are heereby thereof discharged against His Maiestie: Willing neuerthelesse, and charging and commanding all and euery the sayd Prelates, Noblemen and States, and all the sayd Knights, Citizens and Burgesses, and all others, to whom in this case it shall appertaine, That they and euery of them doe personally appeare, and bee present the sayd eight day of February at the City of Westminster aforesayd, to treat, consent, and conclude vpon such matters, as in the sayd Parliament shall then and there, of the Common Councell of the Realme (by Gods fauour) happen to be ordeyned.
