Betweene Christmas and Shroue sunday, are ix. weeks, and three dayes.

NOte, that it is not conuenient to let bloud, whilst the Moone passe by Tau. Capr. Gem. Leo. and Scorp. or the Moone neere the change, full, or quarters: or being afflicted by Satur. or Mars.

The Moone in Aries well affected, is a fit time to let bloud such as bee of a Sanguine or Flegmatick complexion.

The Moone in Canc. let bloude the cholericke complexion.

The Moone in Aqua. or Libra. fitteth the Melancholicke.

Sheare your sheepe, to haue them deepe fleeced: pole or cut your hayre to auoyd baldnesse: set and remooue young trees to haue them growe the better and fayter, in the increase of the Moone.

The wane of the Moone, shee being in Aries. Sagit. or Capr. maketh an approued time to lib or geld cattell.

[diagram of human body as microcosm (with members corresponding to zodiacal signs)]
In heade and face is Aries place,
and Taurus in the necke:
But armes & hands in Geminies bands,
doe suffer ioy and wrecke.
Cancer doth possesse the brest,
the ribbes and stomacke stout:
And Leo backe and heart he hath,
thereof yee neede not doubt.
Virgo belly and bowels,
take thou with all their paines,
For Libra loe the buttockes hath,
the nauell and the raines.
Scorpio the priuate partes,
to haue loe still she cries:
For sure she is that Sagittarie,
possesseth both the thighes.
Then Capricorne must rule the knees,
for legges to Aquarie long.
And Pisces purchast hath the feete:
therefore doe him as wrong.
