The eyght daye fayre wether, and toward night windy, and rayne. The .ix. daye rainye. The tenth daye in the after noone fayre, and somewhat wyndye. The eleuenth day at after noone rayne. ¶ Of thinfirmities that shalbe this presnte yeare.
FIrst Mercuri Lord of the house of diseases, in the fyrst beginnīg of the fyrst quarter, beyng in the sygne of Pisces his fal, and in the second cadent from the ascendent, signifyeth that men shal haue infirmities in their shynne bones, secrete places, and Belies, and these diseases shall happen most vpon boyes, and olde women about the age of .lx. and vpon the learned sort of men also. Iupiter lord of the house of infirmities direct, and in the ascendent of the seconde quarter of the yere, signifieth that ther shalbe no infirmities in that quarter, but peynes in the yies of men, and about theyr knees also, which diseases shal happen most vpon noble men, and vpō youre noble maidens also. Moreouer Saturnus, [Page] beyng Lorde of the house of infyrmities, in the thirde quarter, and impedite in Aries, and in the ninth house signifyeth there shalbe quarterne agues, which shalbe great, and reumes styllynge out of mennes heddes into theyr Lightes, and trembling of Sinewes, and peynes in theyr knees, and yies, through corrupte bloude, because of Mars in the sygne of Mars. Finally, Venus in the fourth quarter, is figured Ladye of the syxte house, beyng in Sagittarius in the ascendent also, signifyeth that men shal haue no infirmities, but such as happen throughe surfettes of drinking, and immoderate venerous actes.
¶ Of warres, and contencions.
MArs in a humain signe in the .viii house, sygnifyeth that mortall war shal happen amongest men, and the more because of his retrogradacion this euyl effect, and disposition shal be more vehement, and this shal appeare more in the Southe partes, and in the Easte partes, then in any other places. [Page] Mars also in the second quarter of the yeare aforesayd, and in the .xxvii. of Virgo in the .xii. house, the house of enemies singnifyeth warre and bloudshed, Mars in the sygne of Scorpio, and in the .iiii. house of the heauens, singnifyeth that many shalbe slayne with the sweard, and that in the .iii. quarter of the yere aforesayd. Finally Mars in the .iiii. quarter, and in the reuolucion therof in the seconde house, the house of substaūce, singnifieth that there shalbe great spoyle of the ignoble people by sodiours, and men of war, because he is in Aquari, whyche sygne is the fall of the Sunne, and the house of cloudy Saturne, which planet singnifyeth diggers, and deluers of the yearth, and such ignoble people, and persons.
¶ Of Cattall, and all other thynges, whiche serue for victualles, as wheat, barley, beanes, and suche lyke.
FIrst Mars beyng Lord of the .viii house impedite, syngnifyeth that in the fyrst quarter of the yere aforesayd shepe shall dye much, and in the [Page] seconde quarter also. Moreouer in the third quarter. Mars in Scorpio, singnifieth that shepe shal not die, in the Reuoluciō of the said quarter, and in the .iiii. and last quarter, Mars in the .ii. house, signifyeth that shepe shal nat dye, but very fewe. Venus in the fyrst quarters, Reuolucion in the seconde house, Retrograde, singnifyeth that Woll shalbe but of a metely lowe price in that quarter, and Venus in the seconde quarter, and in the eyght of Taurus, and in the eyght house of enemyes, signifieth that Woll shalbe hygher of price muche more then before it was in the fyrste quarter, And Venus in the seuenth of Virgo, and the fyrst house of the heauens, at the Reuolucion of the seconde quarter singnifyeth that woll shalbe very deare, and higher of pryce then before. Moreouer in the fourth quarter of the Reuoluriō of the yeare aforesaid Venus peregrine in the ascendent, singnifyeth that there shalbe greate plentye of woll emongest men, and it shall not be deare. Venus Lady of Taurus retrograde, singnifieth that Kyne or calues shall not prosper in the fyrste quarter but metely so, but in [Page] the next quarter, kyne and calues shalbe of a good and hyghe pryce and so also in the thyrd quarter of the yeare aforsaid, but in the .iiii. quarter Venus in the ascendent, and impedite out of al her dignities, singnifyeth that the pryce of Oxen, Kyne, and Calues, shal fal in the said quarter: Wheate in the first quarter lowe of pryce, and in the seconde quarter within the whiche haruest falleth no greate aboundaunce of Wheate, and in that quarter it shalbe but of a low price. Moreouer in the .iii. quarter, speciallye ii. wekes afore Michelmas, wheate shall be good cheape, and in the fourth quarter lowe of pryce wyll wheate be. Barley shalbe of a metely lowe pryce in the fyrste quarter of the yeare Barley also in the seconde quarter of the yeare of a metely lowe pryce, but in this seconde quarter in the whiche haruest falleth there shall therof be good plenty, Barley in the thyrde quarter shall be good cheape ii. wekes afore Michelmasse, but about fourtene dayes afore Hallontide deare agayne, but that dearthe shall not longe continue.
