We hūblie pray & be­sech ye moost graci­ous fayer, yt yu accept & blesse these gifts these rewardes,here the Preest kisseth ye Aulter, and yen maketh ye Crosses. these holy vntasted sacrifices, Chefely which we offer vnto ye for thy holy catholyke churche, yt thou myghtest vouchesafe too pacify, kepe, set togyther & go­uern it through ye wholl world, we thy seruāt our pope (& name hym) and our bysshop (named) ād our kyng (named) ād wt all faithfull mē and louers of the catholike ād apostolike faith. O holy lord, father almygh­ty eternall God, graunt me to receaue this holy body & blod of thy sonne our Lorde Iesus Christ so worthily: that I may deserue by it to receaue remys­sion of all my sīnes, & to be re­plenisshed wt thy holy spyrit & to haue thy peace: for yu art god alone & ther is none other but yu, whose kīgdō & īpery lasteth gloryous, wtout ende for euer [Page]& euer Amē.he kisseth the paxe.
