The project documents variation in the domains of syntax, morphology,as well as to some extent lexical phonology and lexicon, in the dialects of Romani, with special attention to 1) the presence and shape of inherited forms, 2) the functions of inherited forms, 3) the formal representation of semantic functions, 4) grammatical borrowing and depth of borrowing.
